In life and in faith we are called to community. Mater Dei Parish Youth Ministry firmly believes this and that is why we offer high schools teens the opportunity to get involved in our teen small group program.
Small groups consist of teens (already confirmed) the same age paired with adult mentors. Our small groups provide an enviroment of trust and transparency where teens are known and loved. Their faith-filled adult mentors apprentice them in the disciplines of a disciple. Small groups draw teens out of a peer-dominated paradigm and call them to maturity through relationships with adults. They strengthen catechesis through testimony, discussion and faith sharing. We will utilizes video lessens about faith and life produced by some of the top Catholic presenters from around the country.
Small Groups help with the five fundamental needs of teenagers.
Are you a teen interested in joining us or a parent who'd like their teen involved in our Small Groups, contact Deacon Rick Roder, rick.roder@materdeisc.org
