Help Our Parish and Pay Tuition for Your Children!!  

Gift Card fundraising (scrip) means you raise money for Mater Dei church and school by using gift cards instead of cash or credit to pay for everyday purchases like groceries, gas, dining out, that morning coffee, and even your family's summer vacation! It's easy - there's no selling and no extra time or money. Buy gift cards to your favorite stores or brands through RaiseRight. You get the full value of the gift card and Mater Dei Parish gets the earnings from the rebates given by the participating retailers. Then, you choose how you'd like Mater Dei's earnings to be distributed. Either...

a). 75% of the earnings are directed toward tuition assistance for a student(s) in one of the
      Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools or the Mater Dei Parish Faith Formation Program - AND - 
     25% of the earnings are directed to the "Education Building Improvement Fund." 
    - OR -
b.) 100% of the earnings directed toward the "Education Building Improvement Fund."  

People with children too young to attend school can "bank" the assistance money they generate for up to five years for a specific student-to-be. Shoppers don't need to have children in the Catholic Schools or Faith Formation Program to participate. All are welcome to take part in this program. 

You have three options for ordering your gift cards and e-gift cards:
1. Online at www.raiseright.com 
2. RaiseRight App (find it in your Apple App or Google Play stores!) 
3. In person (*As of April 2023, the parish will no longer purchase NEW gift cards to maintain an inventory for in-person sales/orders.  Please call the parish office for updates to this list. 

All purchasers need a RaiseRight Program Agreement Form on file with the Parish. Click HERE to print one. Then, get started by following these step-by-step instructions HERE. You'll need to email mdp.raiseright@materdeisc.org and ask for our "Enrollment Code" to ensure your earnings come to us!

You can usually drop off orders and payments during Parish Office hours (and we'll let you know when to pick up your gift cards). However, volunteers are at the church to sell to you instantly on:
    Mondays*: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
    Saturdays*: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
*excluding holiday weekends!!

More volunteers are always needed - variety of jobs available!
