The Quince Años tradition is rooted in the history, traditions, and celebrations of our forefathers of Hispanic origin.
Today’s culture urges young people to embrace the myths of finding happiness through pleasure and success through possessions. At the time of the celebration of the blessing of the Quinceañera, a young woman comes to the Church seeking God’s blessings for her future. Standing before the altar, she is accompanied by and publicly presented by her family and friends in a gesture of thanksgiving and trust in God’s providence.
We welcome your family to our parish community for the celebration of your Quince Años. The following guidelines are parish policy for all who will celebrate this joyous event.
NOTE: The dates will become available only six (6) months out, because weddings take priority. Our staff will not "save the date" earlier than six months.
To Qualify for a Quince Años Blessing, the Young Woman Must:
1. Be a member of a registeredfamily in our parish. 2. Be a practicing Catholic with an established habit of personal prayer and Mass attendance on Sundays/Holy Days. 3. Be currently attending either our Catholic school or our Faith Formation Program, with regular attendance for the previous several years. 4.
