"Family of Faith" is our faith formation program for families with children in grades 1 through 4. The curriculum is geared toward family learning, activities, and spiritual growth. Our primary goal is making sure Jesus Christ is a vibrant presence in every home!
Early in the month (during the academic year), Small Groups of families gather with a trained Small Group Leader. Children in grades 1 through 4 go through a guided lesson with their own parents and 4-6 other families. Parents and children get a chance to talk about life's bigger questions and to ponder the great mysteries and love of God.
Armed with an introduction to the monthly topic, our families carry out lessons at home two times per month, inbetween the monthly gatherings. This is the most important part of our programs; getting Christ into your homes! A home is not complete without Christ's presence and our Lord will bring peace and joy!
The Family of Faith curriculum goes in a four-year cycle that follows the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church: The Creed, Sacraments, Life in Christ, and Christian Prayer. Thus in the course of four academic years, our families get an overview of the Catechism and Scripture.
