Confirmation Preparation at Mater Dei Parish
Confirmation Process in Transition

We are in the process of moving our Confirmation age down to 8th grade and so are having two classes confirmed per year. This process will be complete in the fall of 2023 when all students currently entering 7th and 8th grade for the 2022-2023 academic year will be confirmed in two separate Masses. Thus in the 2022-2023 academic year, the only class that will be prepping for Confirmation will be the 7th grade (and anyone above that age who is out of sequence).
2022 Confirmation Masses

Sunday September 25, 2022: Faith Formation 10th+ graders and Heelan 9th graders (Mater Dei parishioners)
Sunday December 4, 2022: Heelan 10th graders (Mater Dei parishioners) and Faith Formation 9th graders

If you are registering those to be confirmed September 25 or December 4, 2022, please follow the directions on the parent letter.

All incoming 7th and 8th graders will begin Confirmation preparation in October 2022 and will be confirmed, God willing, in the fall of 2023.
