College Bible Studies
Mater Dei Parish is proud to be Sioux City's Newman Center!
The college bible studies are open to high school seniors and area college students. The bible studies are led weekly by college students.
Men meet Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m.
Women of the Bible meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.
Both groups meet at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, 1212 Morningside Avenue, Sioux City.
You are invited to have dinner, form community, study and reflect upon the Scriptures in a faith-sharing group with your peers.
Fred Lageschulte, a senior from St. Joseph, Missouri, told Lumen Media, the college bible studies helped him stay motivated to attend Mass. Lageschulte added, "'It's nice having like-minded guys to hold me accountable. ... when I first went to college, my faith life was very up and down ...having this every week helped me remain at a consistent high.'"*
