THE 99 EXPERIENCE 3 DAY MISSION-Hosted by Mater Dei Parish
Over the past several months, something powerful has been happening in our parish. Many of us who serve in ministry at Mater Dei Parish have been gathering to grow in our faith and learn how we can become an even stronger and more inviting parish community. We would like to invite all of you to The 99 Experience, a powerful mission event that will be a springboard for our entire parish to deepen our faith as we grow in identity, purpose, and community. The 99 Experience is for everyone, even those who are currently not active in their faith and would need you to invite them. Prayerfully consider who you know who would benefit from attending The 99 Experience and invite them! Join us on February 9th, 10th, 11th at Nativity Church 4242 Natalia Way. What an amazing way to begin your New Year!

Sponsor Couples for Marriage Prep
The diocese is reintroducing sponsor couples for the marriage preparation program. The couples will be trained to work with couples preparing for marriage. If you are interested, please see me.
I spoke about in the state of the parish homily a couple months back that we were looking to hire a business manager for the parish. Deacon Dennis Brockhaus expressed an interest in the job at the same time the Bishop was stating that he would like the deacons to do more for the parish, if possible (many have full time jobs). So we have hired Deacon Dennis as our new the Business Manager. He has managed Crane Sales and Services for years and He is also very handy in fixing things. So he will be a great asset to have, plus he can help out with some of the ministry. He will be working for us between 32-40 hours and week. He will still work about 10 hours at Crane Sales and Service. He will be starting on Monday, January 13th.
Meet with Father after Mass
A reminder that Father will greet people after Mass and will then be available in front of the altar if you would like to talk to him about any struggles that you are facing or would like him to pray with you.
Mater Dei Personal Products Pantry
Advent is a special time for making gifts to the pantry. During this season as we await the birth of Jesus Christ, you may bring your gifts to the altarbefore or after Mass. There will also be a basket at the altar marked for the pantry for monetary gifts. Thank you for sharing your gifts with those in need in our community.
